This is a poem I wrote durring high school…enjoy..;)

Stars explode like diamonds

Thousands of light years away

Moonlight plays out upon the waves

Creating shimmering ghostly shapes

Dancing in the crisp rolling water

Cool wind whispers by gently

As gulls cry out to their mates

Along the shoreline, hard white water

Crashes and foams to uncover lost

Treasures beneath the gritty sand

Skeletal remains deposited along

The bank from creatures that lived

long ago and died mysteriously
